Description Emperor
The sunflower hybrid "Emperor" is a high-yielding variety developed by the Institute of Agriculture in Novi Sad, Serbia. This hybrid is characterized by its high oil content, reaching 49-52%, ensuring the production of high-quality oil. The vegetative period ranges from 95 to 115 days, depending on growing conditions, and plant height varies from 160 to 180 cm. Thanks to its powerful root system, capable of penetrating the soil up to 2.5 meters deep, "Emperor" effectively utilizes water, enhancing its drought resistance.

Plants have a large leaf surface area with up to 32 leaves, promoting active photosynthesis and, consequently, high yields that can reach 5.0 t/ha or 55 c/ha. The hybrid is resistant to various diseases, including rust, Phoma, and sunflower moth infestations, as well as adverse weather conditions such as cold and seed shattering. These qualities make "Emperor" suitable for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, including steppes, forest-steppes, and Polissia.

The seeds of this hybrid have high germination energy, ensuring rapid and uniform growth after sowing. Due to its adaptive properties and resistance to pests and diseases, "Emperor" is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-yield sunflower crop with high oil content.
