Description
The medium-sized flower head is slightly downward-leaning and has good seed fill due to its genetic predisposition to self-pollination. The hybrid demonstrates high initial growth and strong post-germination plant vigor. During flowering, the plant attracts insects, promoting effective pollination. Seeds contain a high level of oleic acid — approximately 85% — making the oil extracted from them particularly valuable.
The hybrid is resistant to major sunflower diseases, including Phomopsis, rust, verticillium wilt, and white mold. The recommended planting density is 55-65 thousand plants per hectare under optimal conditions and 45-55 thousand under drought conditions. Sunflower 8Н463CL tolerates dense planting well and exhibits high oil content and seed quality, making it an attractive choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality oil and stable yields.
