Sunflower ILMEN'

Reliable Yields in Challenging Weed Conditions

For agricultural producers dealing with high weed infestation, choosing the right hybrid is the primary tool for securing a harvest. The sunflower hybrid «Ilmen» from Ooo Sativa is specifically designed for use with the Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) production system. This technology allows for effective control of even the most stubborn weeds and broomrape, ensuring the crop remains free from competition for nutrients throughout the growth cycle.

Key Operational Advantages

• Vegetation Period (120–130 days): The maturity window is perfectly balanced to make the most of soil moisture, providing stability against mid-summer droughts.
• Oil Content (50–55%): High oil accumulation makes «Ilmen» a profitable choice for processors, offering producers better market premiums.
• Cost Efficiency: Compatibility with imidazolinone herbicides eliminates the need for mechanical inter-row cultivation, saving fuel, labor, and machinery maintenance costs.

Developed by the originator «Sativa», this simple hybrid is known for its excellent crop uniformity. During the harvesting stage, this uniformity allows for easier combine header adjustments, minimizing seed losses and ensuring efficient field operation. By integrating the «Ilmen» hybrid into a crop rotation, producers can achieve high yields while drastically simplifying weed management, making it an ideal choice for intensive farming operations looking for a balance between productivity and operational simplicity.
