NS Goliat

NS Goliat sunflower hybrid is a high-yielding and drought-tolerant variety developed for cultivation in regions with limited rainfall, such as the Steppe and Forest Steppe. The vegetation period is 105-108 days, ensuring rapid maturity and allowing for a stable harvest with potential yields up to 53 centners per hectare. High seed oil content, reaching 52%, indicates superior product quality, making this hybrid attractive for the oilseed industry.

One key feature of NS Goliat is its resistance to volunteer weed (volchok) strains A-F, significantly reducing the risk of yield losses. The hybrid is grown using the Clearfield® (EuroLighting) technology, which provides effective weed control and increases flexibility in agronomic practices. Seeds are treated with thiram 480 and metalaxyl-M, which helps protect against major sunflower diseases and improves germination.

The hybrid's origin is linked to selection work in Serbia and Ukraine, confirming its adaptation to regional climatic conditions. The planting unit contains 150,000 seeds, sufficient for sowing areas from 2.2 to 2.5 hectares.
