Flax TOAST 4

Focusing on Oil Yield and the Dietary Segment

The «TOST 4» flax variety, developed by the Siberian Federal Scientific Center for Agrobiotechnologies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is positioned as a strategic asset for specialized agricultural production. It is not merely a generic industrial crop but an oilseed variety specifically bred for the growing dietary and health food markets, where the demand for quality raw materials is steadily rising.

Agronomic Potential and Field Application

For agricultural producers, «TOST 4» offers predictable yields with an oil content ranging from 30% to 48%. This makes it a highly attractive option for enterprises focused on efficient processing. Key application scenarios for this variety include:

• Production of Specialty Oils: Due to its genetic purity and balanced composition, the crop is highly sought after by producers of cold-pressed flaxseed oil.
• Dietary and Health Food Market: The seeds are widely used in the «superfood» sector, including whole-seed packaging, flour production, and as nutritional supplements. This allows farmers to secure high-margin supply contracts with food processing companies.
• Crop Rotation Stability: The variety is noted for its adaptability to regional soil and climatic conditions, which helps mitigate risks when managing diverse crop portfolios.

We recommend «TOST 4» for those looking to diversify their crop structure while targeting sectors with a clear, stable demand. The consistency of its characteristics, established by the originator, ensures predictable economic returns and simplifies logistics planning for the harvest season.
