Description ES SIMBA
ES SIMBA® sunflower is a mid-season simple hybrid included in the State Register for the Central Chernozem region. The plant has medium to high growth without branching, with leaf blades ranging from small to medium size, green in color, and weakly reticulated. Flowering occurs at medium time, ray florets are narrowly oval-shaped and yellow, tube florets are orange without anthocyanic coloration of the stigma. The flower head is medium-sized, downward-tilted on a curved stem, slightly convex on the seed side. Seeds are medium-sized, narrowly oval-shaped, black with clearly visible gray stripes. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and oil content. Average yield in the region is 35.2 centners per hectare, with the maximum recorded at 46.0 centners per hectare in Lipetsk GSI in 2013. Oil content in seeds reaches 53.9%, ensuring an average oil harvest of 18.2 centners per hectare. Due to these characteristics, ES SIMBA® is recommended for cultivation in Voronezh Oblast and other regions of the Central Chernozem zone. ES SIMBA® sunflower is suitable for cultivation in the middle belt of Russia, providing a stable and high yield of oilseeds. Its agronomic characteristics and resistance to regional climatic conditions make this hybrid an attractive choice for farmers focused on producing high-quality sunflower oil.
