ES Bonum

Hybrid sunflower Bonum is a product of Serbian selection company NS Seme from Novi Sad, intended for cultivation in the south-eastern steppe regions of Ukraine with insufficient moisture. This hybrid is characterized by high resistance to drought, lodging, and diseases, including resistance to races of downy mildew (A-G+). The vegetation period ranges from 101 to 105 days, enabling efficient use under limited moisture conditions.

Plants reach a height of 175-185 cm and have a high yield potential—up to 54 centners per hectare. The oil content of seeds ranges from 47-49%, making the hybrid attractive for the oil industry. Bonum sunflower seeds are treated with a fungicide protectant, providing additional protection against fungal diseases and contributing to high-quality seed material.

For cultivation, the recommended planting technology is classical sowing with seed rates adapted to climatic conditions: from 45 to 60 thousand seeds per hectare depending on moisture levels. Also recommended is the use of herbicides for weed control and microfertilizers to enhance fungicide effectiveness. Cultivating the Bonum hybrid ensures a stable and high yield, making it a profitable choice for agricultural enterprises focused on oilseed production.
