ES AXON SU

ES AXON SU (ES Aromatik SU) is a high-oleic hybrid designed for Express technology. It belongs to the mid-maturing varieties with a maturity period of 106 to 112 days, ensuring an optimal balance of growth speed and yield. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, and the flower head diameter is 23-24 cm with a semi-upright inclination, facilitating efficient harvest. The hybrid is adaptable to various growing conditions and suitable for different climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions.

One of the key features of ES Aromatik SU is high resistance to downy mildew (races A-G) as well as diseases such as fomopsis, flower head and stem sclerotinia, rust, and powdery mildew. Additionally, the hybrid demonstrates improved resistance to brown rust nematodes (NBR) and resistance to bird damage, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. The recommended planting rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand under adequate moisture.

ES Aromatik SU is characterized by high oil content in seeds — 49-50%, with oleic acid content reaching 88-89%, making it attractive for producing high-quality vegetable oil. The hybrid is treated with insecticide and fungicide Maxim XL, Apron XL, and Poncho, providing additional protection against pests and diseases. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this sunflower ensures high profitability and stable yields under various agro-climatic conditions.
