CONQUEST

Sunflower CONQUEST is a mid-early hybrid with a vegetation period of 108-118 days, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. This variety features high yield and is adapted to Clearfield Plus® technology, ensuring effective weed control and enabling modern agronomic practices. Plants reach a height of 160-180 cm, with semi-upright flower heads of 19-25 cm diameter, promoting good air circulation and reducing disease risk.

CONQUEST exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including false powdery mildew, rust, fomoz, and downy mildew (tolerance to 5 races A-E). The variety's drought resistance is rated 8 out of 10, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable moisture levels. Resistance to lodging and shattering is also high, facilitating harvest and minimizing yield losses. Kernel weight ranges from 420-440 g, and oil content in seeds varies from 48% to 54%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality sunflower oil.

The CONQUEST hybrid demonstrates strong early growth, promoting the development of a robust root system and high productivity. The recommended planting density under adequate moisture conditions is 60-65 thousand plants per hectare. The sum of effective temperatures until maturity reaches 1760 °C, corresponding to a mid-early maturity period. In the North Caucasus region, average yield is 25.2 c/ha, with maximum yields reaching 45.6 c/ha, confirming the hybrid’s high adaptability and potential.
