Field Performance: Insights on Ekskuz Flax

The 'Ekskuz' variety has proven to be a strategic choice for growers seeking a balance between high yield potential and manageable field performance.

Operational Advantages in the Field

From an agronomic perspective, the consistency of the 'Ekskuz' stands is highly notable. The brown seeds exhibit excellent germination energy, which is crucial for establishing a solid crop during the unpredictable spring planting window. One of the standout features is the variety's strong stem, which significantly minimizes lodging. This makes the harvest much more efficient, as it allows for cleaner threshing and reduced losses.

• Harvest Efficiency: Uniform maturity makes it easier to calibrate harvesting equipment, saving both time and fuel.
• Quality Output: The consistent color and oil content meet high market standards, ensuring good returns on investment.
• Management: The variety responds well to standard crop protection programs without requiring overly complex intervention, making it a cost-effective choice for various soil types.

Working with the 'Ekskuz' variety provides a level of predictability that is often missing in flax production. RWA Raiffeisen Ware Austria has developed a product that handles environmental stressors well, allowing farmers to focus on routine management rather than damage control. For those who prioritize genetic quality and operational peace of mind, 'Ekskuz' remains a dependable professional choice.
