Sunflower P64LE168 is a medium-early simple hybrid of the linoleic type, developed by the seed company Pioneer. It is adapted for cultivation using the ExpressSun technology, which involves the use of the herbicide Granstar, and is characterized by high yield with increased oil content in seeds. Plants have medium height and are suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, demonstrating good adaptation and stable yield even under drought conditions.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to parasitic weeds, particularly to 7 races of ragweed (A-G + System II), which significantly reduces the risk of losses in early growth stages. Additionally, P64LE168 shows high resistance to several diseases, including downy mildew, verticillium wilt, phomopsis, blossom blight, stem rot, and leaf wilting. For rust protection, fungicides are recommended, and for herbicide application, the maximum allowable rate of Express herbicide is 50 g per hectare.

High drought tolerance allows successful cultivation of this hybrid in dry steppe regions, while plants maintain resistance to lodging and shattering throughout the entire vegetation period. The recommended planting density is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture and 45-50 thousand under insufficient moisture. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, P64LE168 is a reliable choice for agronomists aiming to achieve high and stable sunflower yields.
