Arkana

Arkana sunflower is a simple linear hybrid developed using innovative "EuroLighting" technology and intended for cultivation under the "ClearField" system. The vegetative period is 105-109 days, ensuring timely crop maturity. Plants reach a height of 155-175 cm, have a flower head diameter of 18-21 cm, and a huskiness of 21-23%. The 1000-seed mass varies from 60 to 70 grams, and the seeds are black, which is characteristic of this hybrid.

The Arkana hybrid is distinguished by high yield potential of 42-48 centners/ha and high oil content in the seeds — 47-48%. It exhibits resistance to downy mildew, wilt, drought, and cold, making it especially adapted for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe regions. Tolerance to imidazolin herbicides allows effective weed control, contributing to a stable and high-quality harvest.

Arkana is intended for oilseed use, making it attractive to farmers focused on sunflower oil production. Due to its adaptability to dry conditions and resistance to adverse factors, this hybrid ensures stable yields and high product quality, which is a key advantage when cultivating in various climatic zones.
