FORTUNA CL is a mid-season hybrid sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) with a vegetation period of about 122 days, developed for cultivation in the Central Black Earth region. The plant is characterized by high height, green leaf coloration, and yellow ray flowers. The hybrid belongs to the simplex category and was created using Clearfield® technology, which provides resistance to certain herbicides and contributes to effective weed control.

FORTUNA CL seeds weigh approximately 66.8 grams for 1000 pieces, featuring distinct marginal and internal stripes. Leaf blistering is moderate, and branching is absent, affecting plant compactness and structure. The average yield of the hybrid in the Central Black Earth region is 30.8 centners per hectare, with a maximum yield of up to 52.0 centners per hectare. The average oil content in the seeds reaches 47.8%, ensuring a high oil collection of about 13.0 centners per hectare.
