Sunflower ABBAT

The sunflower hybrid ABBAT is a mid-season variety intended for classical cultivation technology with a linseed use direction. The vegetative period ranges from 95 to 116 days, depending on growing conditions. Plants reach a height of 175-190 cm, ensuring good resistance to lodging and suitability for mechanized harvesting. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 68.8 to 92 g, indicating the hybrid's large fruitfulness. Leaves have a green coloration with weak or medium blistering, while ray florets are yellow. The hybrid is distinguished by high yield: average figures reach 22.3 c/ha, maximum up to 44.9 c/ha, which corresponds to 2.48-2.95 t/ha of seeds at standard moisture. Fat content in seeds ranges from 46.0-50.4%, making it attractive for oil production. ABBAT demonstrates moderate resistance to white mold and downy mildew, and is practically not affected by diseases such as rust, anthracnose, bacteriosis, fusarium, sclerotinia, septoria, and others. Pests also do not pose a significant threat, with a minimum level of damage. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Lower Volga region, including the Volgograd and Saratov regions, as well as in neighboring Russian regions. It is characterized by synchronous ripening and high intensity of root nodule development, which contributes to a stable harvest.
