Sunflower TGR 8 is a hybrid created using the SULFO technology, ensuring resistance to herbicides with the active ingredient tribenuron methyl. This hybrid is distinguished by its increased resistance to sunflower eelworm Rass G, which significantly reduces the risk of crop infestation by this pest. The vegetation period of TGR 8 is from 100 to 105 days, allowing for effective use in various climatic conditions, particularly in the Moldova region.

Sunflower plants reach a height of 165-170 cm, which contributes to good development and crop formation. The weight of 1000 seeds varies from 60 to 70 grams, and the oil content in seeds ranges from 49-52%, making this hybrid attractive for the production of high-quality oil. The yield of TGR 8 reaches 4-4.5 tons per hectare at an optimal sowing density of 55,000 - 60,000 plants per hectare.
