Sunflower H 4219

Sunflower hybrid H 4219, developed by Nuseed (USA), is a mid-early linoleic hybrid with a vegetative period of about 99-110 days. It belongs to the mid-season group and has high drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions. The seeds are black, treated with fungicides and insecticides, have high germination rates — 98%, and the weight of 1000 seeds is 60 grams. One bag contains 150,000 seeds, which is sufficient for sowing an area of 2.2–2.5 hectares at a recommended density of 45,000–55,000 plants per hectare.

Hybrid H 4219 is adapted for the ExpressSun technology using the herbicide Gramoxone (SUMO), which ensures effective weed control and promotes high yield. It demonstrates resistance to sunflower rust (mildew) at level A-E (5 races), as well as high resistance to major diseases, including white mold, Phoma, and other pathogens. Due to these characteristics, the hybrid shows stable results even under abnormal weather conditions, confirmed by an actual yield of 47-51 centners per hectare.

Oil content in seeds is 52-54%, which is a good indicator for a linoleic hybrid.
