Sunflower hybrid AAS445, known as Aldazor, is a high-yielding mid-early hybrid adapted for cultivation across all regions of Ukraine. The vegetation period is 112-115 days, enabling a stable harvest under various climatic conditions. Plant height reaches 200 cm, and the flower head diameter is approximately 22 cm. The 1000-seed mass is 60 g, indicating the hybrid's large seed size. Seeds are produced in Ukraine, belong to the elite class, and do not contain GMOs.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases and pests. It possesses genetically programmed medium to high resistance to diseases such as downy mildew, frogeye leaf spot, alternaria, as well as to white and gray mold. Additionally, the sunflower is resistant to new races of the pest A-G+, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss. It is tolerant to herbicides containing tribenuron-methyl, allowing effective weed control with a single application at a rate of 50 g/ha.
Hybrid AAS445 belongs to the intensive type and is characterized by high plasticity and drought tolerance, ensuring stable yield performance and high oil content in seeds — up to 53-55%. The potential yield is 55-60 c/ha, making this hybrid attractive for commercial cultivation. The cultivation technology involves using the herbicide Granstar at a rate of 50 g/ha, which facilitates effective weed control and improves seed quality.
