AAS555

The AAS555 hybrid sunflower is a semi-intensive simple hybrid with high resistance to imidazolin herbicide groups (IMI) and resistance to ragweed types AF. Plants reach a height of approximately 160 cm, and the flower head size is 18-20 cm. The hybrid exhibits good growth vigor and high yield potential, with an average yield of 40.2 c/ha under optimal planting density of 40-45 thousand plants per hectare; for regions with sufficient moisture, a density of 50-60 thousand plants per hectare is recommended. Seed oil content reaches 50%, ensuring high oil content in the yield. AAS555 seeds are treated with fungicides carbendazim and metalaxyl-M, enhancing disease protection and promoting better plant development. Packaging is done in three-layer paper bags of 1 sowing unit (150 thousand seeds), ensuring convenient storage and transportation. The hybrid demonstrates high yield stability under various agro-climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones. The AAS555 hybrid cultivation technology is optimized for use of the herbicide Express (FMC), providing effective weed control and preserving yield potential. The hybrid also exhibits resistance to major sunflower diseases, including phomopsis, phomopsis, flower head sclerotinia, false powdery mildew, and others.
