AAS225

Hybrid sunflower AAS225 is intended for intensive cultivation technologies in the Central and Northern steppes, forest-steppe, and Polissia regions of Ukraine. This high-yielding hybrid is characterized by high initial growth energy and medium plant height ranging from 150 to 170 cm. It possesses a unique combination of disease tolerance, including high resistance to new strains of downy mildew, Phomopsis, and sclerotinia, ensuring stable yields even under challenging conditions.

Hybrid AAS225 is characterized by high sensitivity to improved agronomic practices, allowing for significant yield increases under optimal growing conditions. The seed material is treated not only with fungicide but also with the insecticide Cruiser, providing additional protection against pests. Oil content in the seeds reaches a very high level — up to 53% — making this hybrid especially valuable for oilseed production.

Drought tolerance is rated at 7 points, and overall disease tolerance — at 8 points, confirming the hybrid's adaptability to various climatic conditions. Yield potential and yield stability are both rated at 9 points, guaranteeing reliability and efficiency in cultivation.
