GOLDEN — is an early-ripening first-generation sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Ural region and cold, cool zones of Ukraine. The plant is high-oil with a high oil content in its seeds — up to 55%, which makes it attractive for the production of vegetable products. The growing period lasts about 113 days, and the weight of 1000 seeds reaches 39 grams, indicating good yield potential, averaging 13.3 tons/ha in the Ural region. GOLDEN is tolerant to broomrape (races A-G) and resistant to diseases, providing stable yields even under conditions of insufficient moisture. The plant is tall, reaching a height of up to 200 cm, with straight stems and large double flowers of bright yellow color with a diameter of up to 15 cm. GOLDEN loves light and heat, while having sufficient drought resistance, which allows it to be successfully grown in open areas with fertile soil. Sowing seeds is recommended in April-May directly into the open ground, providing optimal conditions for plant growth and development. The GOLDEN hybrid is suitable for various uses, including group plantings, flower beds, border plantings, and flower gardens, as well as for cutting.
