Sunflower 1301 ST

Sunflower 1301 ST is a mid-season oilseed variety registered in the State Register of the Russian Federation since 2020. This variety is characterized by green leaf color with weak reticulation, absence of branching, and medium plant height at maturity. The disc flower is orange-yellow, and the seeds have strongly marked marginal stripes and weak stripes between the edges. The variety is a parental component of sunflower hybrids and is registered under patent No. 11376 by LLC NPO "GALACTICA". Variety 1301 ST exhibits high resistance to diseases and abiotic stresses, including heat and drought, ensuring stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions. The vegetation period is approximately 90-95 days, with 60-65 days from emergence to flowering. The plant reaches a height of 175-185 cm, and the head has a convex shape. The genetic yield potential reaches 45 centners per hectare, with maximum yields in steppe zones up to 28 centners. The potential oil content in the seeds varies from 48 to 52%. Sunflower 1301 ST is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including northern and central areas, due to its adaptability and stability. Optimal planting density depends on the cultivation zone: in steppe zones, 55-65 thousand plants per hectare are recommended, while in forest-steppe and polysteppe zones — 65 to 85 thousand. Due to its characteristics and resistance, this variety is suitable for conventional oilseed crop cultivation and is a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality yields.
