Sunflower variety 2343 ST is a hybrid of oilseed type, characterized by medium height of about 170 cm and flower head diameter up to 35 cm. The plant has green leaf color with slight blistering, late flowering time, and yellow disc florets. The plant exhibits branching, and seeds have weakly expressed or absent marginal stripes, which is a distinctive feature of this hybrid.

This hybrid demonstrates high herbicide tolerance, particularly to compounds based on imidazolinone group and tribenuron-methyl, allowing effective weed control without harm to the crop. It is recommended to apply foliar micronutrients such as boron, as well as potassium and sodium humates to alleviate stress after herbicide application. Application of boron mono-chelate during the six-leaf stage until the beginning of flowering promotes better development and increased yield.

2343 ST is an intensive hybrid with high and stable yield, reaching up to 45 centners per hectare, and high oil content in seeds — approximately 51%. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions with different climatic conditions, as confirmed by its inclusion in the state register. Due to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to chemical protective agents, this sunflower ensures maximum flower head filling and stable product quality under intensive and semi-intensive cultivation technologies.
