Sugar beet SMART MATERIA KWS

Sugar beet hybrid SMART MATERIA KWS is a medium-late variety recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Republic of Bashkortostan. This variety exhibits resistance to ALS-inhibiting herbicides, facilitating weed control and promoting plant health. The root crop has a medium weight of about 372 grams, with an average yield of 335 centners per hectare. Sugar content in the roots reaches 18.8%, ensuring high sugar harvest — up to 63.5 centners per hectare. Plants of medium height with medium glossy and wrinkled leaf blades show moderate resistance to root maggots and phytophthora root rot. Cultivation of SMART MATERIA KWS is supported not only by high-quality seed material but also by comprehensive agronomic support. KWS offers personalized support and digital platforms that help farmers optimize cultivation throughout the season, enabling timely decisions regarding crop care and enhancing production efficiency. Additionally, the use of modern technologies such as the CONVIZO® SMART system reduces the number of treatments and lowers production costs while simultaneously increasing yield. These innovative approaches make SMART MATERIA KWS an attractive choice for farmers aiming for sustainable and profitable sugar beet cultivation.
