Description Fog
The sugar beet hybrid FOG represents a medium-early agricultural crop with a growing period of about 150 days. The plant is characterized by low height and an oval-conical root shape of medium length, which is immersed in the soil by about three quarters. The leaf rosette is semi-erect, which contributes to good plant development and health.

FOG differs in high yield, which in various regions reaches from 71.8 to 83.0 tons per hectare. Sugar content varies from 18.5% to 20.4%, providing a high sugar output of up to 14.7 tons per hectare. The hybrid possesses stable yield and high juice purity, making it attractive for industrial cultivation.

Special attention is paid to FOG's resistance to diseases and unfavorable conditions. The hybrid demonstrates high resistance to ramularia leaf spot, powdery mildew, root rots, and cercospora leaf spot, as well as good drought resistance. This allows for successful cultivation of the crop in the Central, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, and Western Siberian regions. The hybrid was developed and registered by the breeding enterprise LLC "SOYUZSEMSVEKLA".
