Sugar beet variety Ruteniia — a high-yielding classic hybrid developed and registered in Ukraine in 2023. It is intended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions and is characterized by high adaptability to regional climatic conditions. The vegetation period is 210 days, which promotes optimal sugar accumulation in the roots. The root shape is broad-conical, deeply embedded in the soil by three-quarters, facilitating harvest. The leaf rosette is semi-spreading, ensuring uniform growth and disease resistance. The yield potential reaches 95 tons per hectare, with an average yield of 80–85 tons, and sugar content potential up to 19.7%, with an average of 17.5%. The Ruteniia hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases and stress factors, making it a reliable choice for farmers. It is resistant to rhizomania, cercospora, powdery mildew, root rot, and flower blotch, with resistance ratings ranging from 8 to 9 on a 10-point scale. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high ecological plasticity and drought tolerance, allowing it to maintain stable yields even under insufficient moisture. Ruteniia seeds are supplied in batches of one sowing unit, containing 1,500,000 seeds, with delivery options via Nova Poshta or self-pickup from the manufacturer’s warehouse in Kropyvnytskyi. The recommended sowing rate depends on soil moisture levels: 70–75 thousand seeds per hectare in areas with insufficient moisture, and 75–85 thousand in areas with adequate moisture. Seeds are pelleted and treated with insecticides and microfertilizers, ensuring maximum protection and rapid germination, rated at 9 points.
