Sugar beet PREZIOSA KWS

Stable yield and high sugar content

Choosing the «Preciosa KWS» hybrid is a strategic move for farms focused on maximizing sugar yield per hectare. As a triploid Z-type (sugar-directed) hybrid, it performs exceptionally well under intensive farming conditions, where quality and sugar extraction are prioritized alongside raw tonnage.

Crop health as a profitability driver

The hybrid effectively mitigates losses due to disease pressure. Its genetic resistance to rhizomania and common foliar pathogens — cercospora, ramularia, and powdery mildew — allows agronomists to optimize fungicide spray schedules. In areas with high disease pressure, this hybrid maintains green leaf canopy until harvest, which is critical for continuous sugar accumulation.

Management and harvest logistics

• Yield Potential: The high sugar content makes it a top choice for processing plants with stringent raw material quality requirements.
• Operational Efficiency: Uniform root development simplifies the calibration of beet harvesters, reducing losses during extraction and cleaning.
• Sowing Strategy: It reaches its full yield potential when sown early into well-warmed soil, characteristic of modern commercial beet production zones.

Investing in «Preciosa KWS» is the right call for farms looking to balance high sugar levels with robust biological defense. This hybrid reduces reliance on heavy chemical interventions, allowing managers to focus resources on precision nutrient management to hit their target commercial specs.
