Sugar beet Prometei

Focusing on Maximum Sugar Yield

The 'Prometey' variety, developed by the Institute of Sugar Beet of the NAAS of Ukraine, is designed for farmers aiming for the highest sugar output per hectare. Within the sugar-type (Z) category, this variety stands out for its consistency and ability to accumulate high sugar levels even with moderate agronomic practices.

Key Advantages

• Record-High Sugar Concentration: With levels reaching 23–24%, 'Prometey' is one of the most efficient tools for the processing industry.
• Large Root Crop: The large, conical shape of the root facilitates mechanized harvesting, ensuring minimal loss during extraction.
• Climate Resilience: The variety is well-adapted to local climatic conditions, which is crucial for achieving a stable harvest amidst seasonal weather variability.

Who Should Choose This Variety?

'Prometey' is an optimal solution for agricultural enterprises that have long-term contracts with sugar refineries and strive to maximize profits through raw material quality. Unlike generic, broadly adaptable hybrids, this is a specialized instrument tailored for high-sugar production. Its primary mission is to supply the refinery with the best possible technological characteristics.

When selecting this variety, it is important to note that it reaches its full genetic potential on fertile soils under proper sowing densities. It is an investment in product quality that yields dividends during processing.
