SY FENOMENO

Sunflower seeds SY FENOMENO are a new high-oleic hybrid of moderate-intensity type, characterized by high yield and adapted to areas with foxtail (ragweed) prevalence. This mid-season hybrid has a vegetation period of approximately 110-120 days and is intended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones (central and northern). It features high oil content (51-53%) and oleic acid up to 86%, making it especially valuable for producing high-quality oil.

SY FENOMENO exhibits good drought resistance and high pollen shedding, contributing to stable yield formation. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to major diseases such as Phomopsis, Phomosis, Sclerotinia, as well as false powdery mildew. Additionally, it is resistant to root and stem lodging, ensuring reliability under adverse weather conditions and reducing yield losses.

To achieve maximum productivity, it is recommended to follow optimal seeding rates depending on soil moisture levels: 35-45 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, 45-55 thousand/ha under moderate conditions, and 50-55 thousand/ha under adequate moisture. Key agronomic practices include crop rotation, optimal sowing dates, and spatial isolation from linseed sunflower fields at a distance of no less than 200-400 meters.
