Description Sharm
Sharm soybean is a medium-maturing, universal variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions of Ukraine, as well as in Moldova. Plants reach a height of 95-110 cm, with pod attachment height of 10-13 cm. Seeds are light-brown, round-convex, with dark-brown hilum and yellow cotyledons, with a 1000-seed weight of 127-145 g. The variety was registered in 2008 and is characterized by high yield, reaching 1.5-2.5 tons per hectare.

Sharm soybean is characterized by high protein content (35-38%) and oil content at 24-25%, making it attractive for production of both food and feed raw materials. The variety is resistant to various diseases, as well as lodging and pod cracking, which contributes to maintaining yield quality and reducing losses during harvest.

For optimal cultivation, planting should be conducted at the end of April to early May at a depth of 4-5 cm. Due to its adaptive properties and good commercial qualities, the Sharm variety is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality soybean harvest under various regional climatic conditions.
