Smolyanka is an early-maturing variety of black soybean developed by the Institute of Feed and Agriculture of Podolia and included in the Register of Varieties of Ukraine since 2008. This variety is characterized by a black seed coat and a vegetation period ranging from 109 to 120 days. The yield of Smolyanka reaches 3.8–4.2 tons per hectare, with protein content in the seeds at 35–38% and oil content at 18–19%. The variety is distinguished by its resistance to diseases and stress factors, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions.
Black soybean Smolyanka is a valuable source of protein, vitamins, and microelements, making it in demand in both the food industry and feed production. Thanks to its nutritional properties, it contributes to strengthening health and maintaining vital energy. The crop prefers light soils with high organic matter content, does not tolerate acidic or saline soils, and requires moderate moisture without excess water.
