NS AURORA soybean is an ultra-early variety with a vegetation period of 80-85 days and full maturity in the first decade of August. This makes it a reliable predecessor for winter cereal crops. The variety is adapted to various soil-climatic zones of Ukraine, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia, as confirmed by stable average yields: 2.6 t/ha in the Steppe zone, 3.4 t/ha in the Forest-Steppe, and 3.0 t/ha in the Polissia zone. Plant height reaches 85-90 cm, and the 1000-seed weight is 120-140 g, indicating good seed size and quality. NS AURORA has high protein content (around 40%) and oil content (19.4-21.4%), providing an optimal balance of nutrients and high seed flavor. Due to these characteristics, the variety is widely used in the food industry. The attachment height of the lower pod varies from 8 to 13 cm, facilitating harvest and reducing losses during collection. The variety exhibits high resistance to pod shattering and cracking, as well as fungal and viral diseases. It demonstrates enhanced resistance to water and nutrient deficiency during reproductive organ formation, making it reliable under stress conditions. NS AURORA is resistant to lodging, responds well to fertilizer application and irrigation, allowing for optimized agronomy and increased yield. The recommended planting density is 800-900 thousand plants per hectare.
