Soybean Kyivska 27

A Reliable Choice for Intensive Farming

The 'Kyivska 27' soybean variety, developed by breeders at the National Scientific Center 'Institute of Agriculture of NAAS', has firmly established itself in the portfolios of Ukrainian farmers as a reliable tool for achieving stable yields. Created specifically for the climatic conditions of Ukraine, this variety demonstrates high adaptability to regional fluctuations in temperature and humidity.

Agronomic Performance and Potential

'Kyivska 27' belongs to the mid-early maturity group, making it an optimal solution for farms planning to sow winter crops after the soybean harvest. The vegetation period ranges from 90 to 100 days.

• Plant Architecture: The plant reaches a height of 70–100 cm, allowing for efficient use of machinery for direct combining.
• Technological Suitability: The height of the lowest pods is 14–16 cm. This is a critical parameter that minimizes grain losses during harvesting in real-world field conditions.
• Raw Material Quality: The protein content in the seeds is within the 39–41% range, which fully meets the market demands of processing plants and exporters.

This variety is aimed at farmers who value time-tested solutions with predictable reactions to agronomic practices. It effectively realizes its genetic potential when crop rotation and optimal seeding rates are observed, serving as a reliable workhorse in the production of legumes in Ukraine.
