Soybean seeds of the variety Valyuta are high-quality planting material with a medium-early maturity period, typically maturing in the first week of September when optimal planting dates are observed. The plant has a medium height of 80 to 120 cm, with inflorescences containing 8-10 purple flowers. The pods are oval-shaped, light-russet in color, with a strong reddish pattern on stems and pods, and are resistant to cracking. The 1000-seed mass is 140-160 grams, indicating the density and quality of the seed material.
One of the key features of the Valyuta variety is its resistance to the herbicide Roundup, which allows effective weed control from the emergence of the first seedlings until the beginning of flowering. This significantly reduces the need for frequent agrochemical treatments, simplifying crop care and lowering cultivation costs. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high resistance to various diseases, including fusarium, downy mildew, septoria, and especially phytophthora, as well as drought, lodging, and shattering, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
Soybean Valyuta is suitable for cultivation for both food and feed purposes due to its high crude protein content (40-41%) and fat content (21-23.5%). The recommended planting rate is 700-750 thousand seeds per hectare, with an optimal plant density at harvest of 550-600 thousand plants per hectare and row spacing of 38-45 cm. The vegetative period lasts 90-95 days, and thermal units (CPU) are approximately 2500. The breeder of the variety is NAAN of Ukraine, and the seeds are supplied in 50 kg packages.
