Kobza

Soybean variety Kobza is an early-maturing grain variety recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Steppe regions. Plants have a height of 70 to 100 cm, with reddish-brown hairs and purple flowers. Seeds are oval-round, yellow in color, with dark or light brown hilum, weighing 120–180 g per 1000 seeds. Plants are indeterminate in growth habit, with the lower pod attachment height ranging from 15 to 18.2 cm, and have upright or semi-upright form.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging, seed shattering, as well as diseases such as bacterial blight and fusarium. Additionally, Kobza exhibits enhanced drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The vegetative period ranges from 94 to 114 days, ensuring early flowering and timely harvest.

The potential yield of this variety reaches 3.3–5 t/ha, with protein content in seeds varying from 33.1% to 39.3%, and oil content ranging from 20.4% to 23.6%. The recommended plant density at harvest is 600–650 thousand plants per hectare. Due to its high technological and agronomic characteristics, variety Kobza is promising for grain production and ensures stable quality and productivity indicators.
