Amadea

Amadea soybean is an ultra-early, high-yielding variety with genetically improved traits, developed by Saatbau Linz (Austria) and registered in 2018. This variety belongs to the very early maturity group (group 000) with a vegetative period of about 95 days and an indeterminate growth habit. Plant height is approximately 70-80 cm, with the lower pod attachment height around 14 cm. The recommended planting density at harvest is 450-500 thousand plants per hectare, with row spacing ranging from 25 to 45 cm.

Amadea exhibits high resistance to lodging and shattering, as well as to various diseases, including bacterial blight, downy mildew, sclerotinia, and viral infections. The variety demonstrates rapid growth energy in early development stages, contributing to the formation of strong and healthy plants. Thanks to these qualities, Amadea adapts well to adverse and stressful growing conditions, ensuring a stable and high yield.

Chemically, Amadea is characterized by high protein content — 40-44% — and significant oil content — around 20-21%. The 1000-seed weight is 190-200 grams, indicating seed size and quality. Amadea soybean is intended for seed use and combines an optimal balance of yield and nutritional value, making it attractive for agricultural production.
