The soy variety Irina is a mid-season indeterminate variety with plant heights ranging from 85 to 90 cm, featuring a semi-erect shape and grey pubescence on the stem. Leaves have a lanceolate-ovate shape with intense green coloration from medium to dark, while the flowers are white. Seeds are of medium size, elongated shape, yellow in color with a yellow hilum. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 135.2 to 162.7 g. The height of the lower pod attachment is between 11.8 and 24.8 cm, which facilitates harvest collection.

The Irina variety is distinguished by its resistance to major diseases and stress factors, as well as resistance to lodging and shattering, which enhances its technological efficiency and reliability during cultivation. It is adapted to various soil and climatic conditions, especially recommended for cultivation in steppe regions. The yield potential is approximately 3.5 t/ha, with an average yield of 15.2 centners/ha in the North Caucasus region and a maximum of up to 32.0 centners/ha, as confirmed by testing results at the Izobilnyenskoye SPU of the Stavropol Krai.

Protein content in Irina variety seeds averages 37-39%, characterizing it as a medium-oil variety with high-quality raw materials. Fat content reaches 21.9%, making this variety attractive for various applications. High yield, resistance to adverse conditions, and technological efficiency make the Irina variety a profitable choice for agricultural production in the relevant regions.
