Soybean variety Elina is a high-yielding and adaptable variety recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. Plants reach an average height of 72 to 90 cm, possess high plasticity and strong initial growth, ensuring good establishment and development. The variety is suitable for traditional row planting and can be successfully grown on fertile and clay soils, as well as under the no-till system, expanding its agronomic applications. Elina is characterized by early maturity with a vegetative period of about 110 days and very early flowering. Plants are indeterminate type with purple flowers and yellow seeds, with a 1000-seed weight of approximately 179 g. The variety exhibits high resistance to diseases such as sclerotinia and phytophthora, as well as to stress factors, contributing to stable yields. Protein content in seeds ranges from 39.2% to 42.5%, while oil content reaches 20.5–21.1%, making this variety valuable for producing food and technical products. Yield potential is 3.3–3.5 t/ha, with a recommended planting density of approximately 600,000 plants per hectare. High resistance to lodging and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions make Elina a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality and stable soybean yields.
