CORANA

CORANA is a mid-early soybean (Glycine max) variety characterized by high yield and resistance to unfavorable conditions. Plants are indeterminate type, reaching heights of 85 to 120 cm, with lower pod attachment height of about 15-18 cm. Seeds are large, elongated, yellow in color with a dark brown hilum; 1000 seed mass is approximately 170-180 g. The vegetative period lasts about 110-120 days, ensuring rapid early growth and active plant development. The variety shows high resistance to lodging, root rots, and sclerotinia, and possesses high tolerance to major soybean diseases. Thanks to these qualities, CORANA demonstrates stable yield in various climatic zones, including the Central Black Earth region and areas of Russia, such as Kursk, Lipetsk, and Tambov, where yield reaches 25.6-27.9 c/ha, and potential yield can reach up to 75 c/ha. Moreover, the variety exhibits high drought tolerance, making it suitable for cultivation in diverse conditions. CORANA is characterized by high protein content (up to 43%) and fat (about 23.9%), making it attractive for use in the food and feed industries. High protein and oil content in the grain contributes to improved product quality. Recommended for sowing at a density of 400-500 thousand seeds per hectare, ensuring optimal plant development and maximum productivity.
