Early-maturing hybrid of white-grained sorghum Baggio, French selection, intended for food use, starch, and spirit production. Plants reach 110–130 cm in height, and the panicle, approximately 32 cm long, has a semi-closed form on a tall stalk. Early panicle emergence contributes to high drought resistance and full yield formation even under adverse climatic conditions. Rapid early growth prevents weed suppression, ensuring good germination and crop development.
Hybrid Baggio is characterized by high productivity and grain quality, which is free of tannins, making it particularly valuable for food applications. The plant is adapted to dry conditions and exhibits high plasticity and disease resistance, enabling successful cultivation on various soils and in unfavorable climatic zones. Seeds treated with fungicide "Maxim XL" and antidote "Concept III", enhancing disease resistance and ensuring healthy planting material.
This hybrid meets DSTU 2240-93 standards and combines high yield potential with excellent grain quality. Due to its properties, sorghum Baggio is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve stable and high-quality yields under limited water conditions and challenging agro-climatic conditions.
