Krymbel® sorghum is a mid-early variety designed for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Republic of Crimea. This variety is distinguished by high yield, averaging 64.7 centners per hectare, and resistance to drought and lodging, making it a reliable choice for agricultural production under limited moisture conditions.
Krymbel® sorghum grain is characterized by high nutritional value: it contains a significant amount of starch, protein, and lysine, ensuring its wide application both in feed industry and for food purposes. The thousand-grain weight varies from 25 to 29 grams, while the plant head is 27-30 cm long and white in color.
Due to its qualities, the Krymbel® variety is widely used as a primary protein source for livestock, and is also suitable for the production of compound feeds and grain fodder. The mid-early maturity period (98-105 days from germination to maturity) allows for effective planning of agrotechnical measures and obtaining stable yields.
