Sorghum Combi

COMBI — high-yielding grain sorghum variety intended for cultivation in northern regions, with the possibility of repeated sowings in southern areas. The plant is dwarf, reaching a height of 80–90 cm, and has high bushiness, allowing for continuous sowing. The grain is light brown in color; the mass of 1000 grains is approximately 38 grams. The variety differs in early maturity and stability of yield over years, making it a reliable choice for agrarians.

Sorghum COMBI is characterized by high drought resistance, rated at 9 out of 10, and lodging resistance at a level of 10 points. These qualities ensure stable development and high productivity even under conditions of limited moisture and adverse weather conditions. Average grain yield reaches 23.1 centners per hectare, with maximum indicators up to 84.4 centners per hectare, confirming its high productivity and adaptability.

Thanks to a powerful fibrous root system capable of penetrating the soil to a depth of 2 meters, COMBI effectively uses moisture and nutrients, allowing it to be cultivated on various soil types, including saline and low-fertility soils. The plant continues to grow actively at temperatures up to 37°C and requires twice as much less moisture compared to other grain crops, making it particularly profitable for regions with low water capacity and minimal rainfall.
