The Zlatoslava soybean variety is universal and recommended for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polesie regions. It is a medium-maturing variety with a vegetative period of 90 to 105 days. Plants reach a height of 80 to 115 cm, and the attachment height of the lower pod is 17–20 cm. The mass of 1000 seeds varies within the range of 140–167.5 g. Seeds are yellow in color and round in shape, while pods are light-brown. Protein content in the seeds reaches 39.8%, and oil content — 22.7%.
Zlatoslava is characterized by high resistance to various diseases, including ascochytosis, downy mildew, septoria, bacterial blight, fusarium, and viral mosaic. Additionally, the variety is resistant to damage from major pests. It also demonstrates high resistance to drought, lodging, and shattering, making it adaptable to various climatic conditions.
This variety is intended for seed production, as well as for feed and food purposes. The yield of this variety ranges from 2.5 to 3.0 tons per hectare, confirming its high productivity. Zlatoslava was developed by the Steppe Agricultural Institute of NAAN Ukraine and is a reliable choice for farmers seeking a high-quality and resilient soybean harvest.
