Soybean variety Koa belongs to the early-maturing group with a maturation period of 95-105 days and a sum of effective temperatures of about 2500. This variety is characterized by strong early growth and an indeterminate growth type with an upright plant form. Plant height is above average, with reddish-brown pubescence on the main stem and medium intensity of green leaf color. Seeds are medium-sized, with yellow seed coat and light hilum matching the seed color.

Variety Koa has high resistance to sclerotinia, especially when grown after sunflower, as well as good resistance to cracking and main diseases. It branches well and exhibits resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps maintain yield. Thanks to these qualities, Koa is the leader in yield within its maturity group.

Recommended seeding rate varies from 650,000 to 750,000 seeds per hectare depending on water availability, row spacing (25-50 cm), and planting dates. The variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, including Polesie, forest-steppe, and steppe. Yield potential reaches 4.5-5.0 tons per hectare, with seed protein content of 41-42% and oil content of 21-23%.
