OVAL

The Rosa 'Oval' variety is a compact bush reaching about 1.5 m in height, characterized by a medium maturation period and suitable for both industrial cultivation and home use of berries in infusions. The bush is covered with medium-sized white flowers that give it a solemn appearance. Fruits appear in mid-August, have a slightly flattened shape, weigh up to 9 g, and feature a dense skin with a cream-red hue.

The leaves of the 'Oval' rose are oval-oblong, matte, with sharp teeth along the edges. They are hairless, leathery, wrinkled, and concave, giving the plant a distinctive look. The medium-length canes are curved, their surface is also matte, and medium-sized thorns are arranged perpendicularly along the entire length of the branch.

The fruits of this variety are rich in vitamins A, C, B, PP, E, and K, as well as minerals. Due to the high density of the pulp, they are full of juice and have a sweet taste, making them ideal for preparing tea infusions and other drinks. The variety is noted for its good frost resistance (up to –42 °C) and resistance to pests and diseases, so its cultivation does not require frequent care intervention.
