Rosehip Titan

Optimized for Commercial Drying

The «Titan» rosehip variety, developed by the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, is a strategic choice for growers focusing on the production of high-quality botanical raw materials. Unlike common ornamental varieties, Titan is specifically engineered for efficient processing, particularly for drying, making it a reliable asset for the herbal tea and pharmaceutical supply chains.

Agronomic Profile and Efficiency

The shrub typically reaches a height of 1.5–2 meters. A key operational advantage is its genetic resistance to powdery mildew, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. This not only lowers production costs but also ensures a cleaner, higher-quality harvest suitable for sensitive markets.

• Yield Capacity: With proper site management and pruning, the variety consistently delivers 2–3 kg of fruit per bush.
• Harvesting and Post-Harvest: The fruits possess a resilient skin structure, making them ideal for harvesting and transport to drying facilities without significant bruising or premature degradation.
• Industrial Use: Designed specifically for the drying sector, the fruits maintain excellent nutritional density, meeting the strict requirements for vitamin-rich extracts and dried fruit products.

By selecting Titan, producers balance agricultural efficiency with product consistency. Its natural disease resistance makes it a low-maintenance, high-return crop suitable for both plantation-scale farming and the creation of productive, protective landscape barriers.
