Description APPLE
Rosehip "Apple" – one of the most decorative and large-fruited rosehip varieties. The bush has a spherical shape, usually not exceeding 1.2 m in height, yet the yield is comparable to tall varieties. The canes are fully thorny, while the leaves are large, glossy-green and emerald light in shade.

The fruits of this variety differ by a flat-round "apple" shape, weight up to 13 g, dark red color and bright gloss. They grow in groups of five to seven pieces, creating an attractive appearance on the bush even during ripening. The taste of the berries is tender, sour-sweet with a light spice and delicate aroma, making them ideal for jam, marmalade, syrup and jelly. If desired, berries can also be used for drying – however, they require more time compared to small-fruited varieties.

The flowers of the variety are saturated-pink (sometimes white), large and raspberry-colored, which bloom in May–June for about twenty days. The crop ripens at the end of August, and the vitamin C content can reach 1400 mg/%. "Apple" is resistant to diseases and frost, grows quickly and does not form unnecessary suckers, making it suitable for open ground. The yield is high – up to 5 kg of berries from one bush.
