Hawthorn "Globus" is a medium-sized shrub with medium-length, thick, and curved branches, the tips of which hang slightly downwards. The plant's shoots are colored light green and practically lack thorns, making work with it more convenient compared to many other hawthorn varieties.
Large hawthorn leaves have a light green hue, a matte surface, bare and leathery texture. The leaf border is adorned with blunt teeth, giving the plant a distinctive look. The fruits are round, light red in color with long pedicels, an average mass of 3.5 g. Due to these characteristics, they are easily collected and suitable for further use in food and cosmetics.
"Globus" differs in high frost resistance, which allows growing it even in regions with severe winters. The plant prefers fertile drained soil – loamy or clayey, but at the same time does not tolerate the close presence of groundwater. The light-loving nature of the shrub makes it an ideal choice for gardens and vegetable plots where cold resistance and ease of care are required.
