Root celery variety 'President' (President) is a high-yielding, mid-season variety developed by the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan. The vegetative period ranges from 110 to 130 days, allowing harvest in early October when seedlings are transplanted in May. The plant forms a strong rosette and grows up to 45 cm tall, promoting the formation of large root crops with a diameter of 8-14 cm and weight up to 2.5 kg. The root crops have a round shape with smooth white skin and dense, juicy flesh without veins, possessing a pleasant taste and aroma.
