Sweet Corn Arktur

Arktur sweet corn is a high-quality hybrid with excellent taste characteristics and high yield. Plants reach a height of 140–150 cm, with conical-cylindrical ears up to 8 cm long and weighing about 200 g. The kernels have an attractive color: orange at the top, yellowish-white at the bottom, giving the ears an attractive appearance. The period from emergence to technical maturity is 68–70 days, allowing the hybrid to be successfully grown in various climatic conditions.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to cold, lodging, and major diseases, ensuring stable yields and reducing risks during cultivation. Arktur demonstrates good water shedding and drought tolerance, making it suitable for regions with variable moisture levels, such as Polissia and Forest Steppe. Plants have plasticity and a strong root system, which promotes rapid growth and adaptation to adverse conditions.

Agronomic characteristics of the hybrid include 1000-kernel mass ranging from 320–360 g, 16–18 rows per ear, protein content around 9.5%, and starch content of 74.1%. The potential yield reaches 160 centners per hectare at optimal planting density of 85–90 thousand plants per hectare, ensuring high productivity and grain quality. Due to its characteristics, Arktur sweet corn is an excellent choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sweet corn harvest.
