Sweet Corn Andriyivsky F1

Reliable Yield from Ukrainian Breeding

The sweet corn hybrid "Andriivskyi F1" by VNIS is a product of dedicated work by Ukrainian breeders focused on the specific needs of the domestic fresh market. Amidst Ukraine’s shifting climate, this hybrid has established itself as a reliable tool for consistent income, balancing ease of cultivation with the market-ready quality consumers demand.

Agronomic Profile

"Andriivskyi F1" belongs to the Se (sugar enhanced) type, which defines its core value: a high sugar content and a tender texture. With a vegetation period of 75–80 days, it is classified as a mid-early hybrid. This maturity timing is optimal for entering the market during peak consumer demand, allowing for efficient, continuous product supply.

• Ear length: 18–20 cm. This size is the gold standard for retail, offering convenience in both logistics and pre-sale preparation.
• Endosperm type (Se): Ensures longer preservation of taste and texture after harvest compared to traditional varieties, which is critical for the fresh produce sector.
• Application: Strictly for the fresh market. High uniformity and marketability ensure excellent results for distribution through supermarkets and produce markets.

Choosing "Andriivskyi F1" is an investment in predictability. For farmers working in the southern and central regions, this hybrid has become synonymous with stability. Its genetics are well-adapted to local soil and climatic conditions, reducing cultivation risks and ensuring that the final produce meets buyer expectations: sweet, juicy, and visually appealing.
